I was wondering what happened to the young witch and why she didn't join the hunter and the doll, but turns out she was there with them the whole time.

It's kinda weird to see such scene in broad daylight, I'd expect it to be more dramatic with ominous red sky (or at least at the sunset) and that sort of thing.
